Sunriver offers 35+ miles of paved bike trails that travel all throughout the community. Activities also include 29 tennis courts and two outdoor swimming pools (plus the indoor pool and wave machine at Mavericks at sunriver) . Sunriver also has their own stables which offer guided trail rides, pony rides, and sleigh rides during the winter. The Sunriver marina has canoe and raft rentals during the warm months, which provides a fun and relaxing float down the Deschutes River. Within Sunriver you can also find the Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory, white water rafting, canoeing and snowshoeing, family-friendly mountain bike tours, ATV and Snowmobile tours, which you can experience either guided or on your own, and Nordic and Alpine skiing close by. There are dozens of lakes and rivers within a short drive, providing some of the best fishing and water recreation in the Northwest. You can also take a hunting trip. Lost Tracks Golf Club, Best of all, Mavericks at Sunriver, our new family-friendly recreation facility, offers a wide variety of things to do, such as yoga classes, massage, exercise equipment, rock climbing, indoor basket ball, wireless internet, video arcade, tanning, and a yummy juice bar. Phase II of Mavericks, which just opened, has an indoor swimming pool, kids splash pad, as well as a FlowRider surfing machine.
